OpenSimulator Community Conference 2016 

The OpenSimulator Community Conference is an annual conference that focuses on the developer and user community creating the OpenSimulator software. Organized as a joint production by Core Developers of OpenSimuator and AvaCon, the virtual conference features presentations, workshops, keynote sessions, and social events across diverse sectors of the OpenSimulator user base.

Tim Elliott works with A Dimension Beyond, Inc. as a coder and advisor on
making OpenSim work for disabled people. Tim has Cerebral Palsy and the challenges
related to that. He has been involved in Virtual Worlds since 2007. He has written and
presented several of his papers at research conferences including one called How Cyber-Anthropology relates to MMORPGs and Metaverses. It is about Anthropology and the
holistic study of humanity and how it can help software engineers develop better online
role-playing games and virtual worlds. This was presented at the 2009 and 2010 Meeting
of the Minds conference and published in their journal. He has received community
service awards for his work in this area.
